Rehab therapies
Sanctuary Lodge is proud to offer a comprehensive approach to addiction recovery through various addiction therapy programmes. These are a combination of traditional psychotherapies, such as addiction counselling, alongside Eastern philosophies and practices like yoga and acupuncture. The sole purpose of this holistic approach is to treat addiction from every angle possible, taking into consideration a client’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being and offering effective remedies for each. If you are considering addiction therapy with us, take a look at the various treatments we offer at Sanctuary Lodge.
CBT
CBT focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour. CBT works by addressing destructive thought patterns that drive addiction by questioning if these beliefs are true and replacing them with constructive ones. Click the button below to learn more.
DBT
DBT is derived from CBT, but it uses four skill modules to help people interact more consciously with themselves and the world around them. DBT places great importance on accepting our imperfections whilst promoting personal improvement. If you would like to learn more, click below.
12-Step model
Clients follow 12 comprehensive modules which enable them to heal from past pain and access a place of inner strength to lead them out of addiction. The 12-Step therapy is utilised for life-long recovery and clients can access it long after rehab through a variety of addiction recovery fellowships.
Yoga
Yoga is a practice accessible to anyone, helping people to find a spiritual connection through movement and mindfulness. In addition, Yoga soothes the nervous system, allowing people to go inward, thus quieting down all external influences so people can feel a sense of inner peace. Click the button below to learn more.
